Remembrance Day Contest Winners
Congratulations to all KCS students who won awards for their entries in the Royal Canadian Legion's Remembrance Day contest! Elementary, Middle, and High School Students created art, writing, and video to honour veterans, and their works were submitted to the Legion in November.
KCS had 19 winners, out of the 39 winners in Kelowna. Six of our 1st Place winners also won in Zones (the Okanagan) and their pieces now go on to Provincials.
Big congratulations to Finn Campbell who won 1st Place nationally in the intermediate essay category. Finn received a plaque for being the National Winner and his work will be displayed in Ottawa at the Canadian War Museum!
Well done to all the students who made an effort to enter the contest and honour our country's veterans.
