My name is Julie Overby and I have been on staff as a teacher at KCS since March 2014.  Previous to that, I was a TOC at KCS and really enjoyed getting to know the students in all grades and the amazing community that we have at our school. 

My husband, three children and I have enjoyed living in Canada for the past three years.  I began my teaching career in California where I taught grade one in both private and public schools.  I also enjoyed teaching grade six when we moved to Oregon and had many years as a substitute teacher while my own children were tiny.  After returning to full time teaching, there is no doubt that teaching is my passion.  I also really enjoy photography, worship/music, paper crafting, hiking and family time.

I’m honored and blessed to be apart of such a fantastic community of believers here at Kelowna Christian School.
