When I was young and all other girls were dressing up as princesses and having tea parties and I was dressing up my stuffed animals and teaching them the alphabet; I knew I wanted to be a teacher as long as I can remember. I wanted to have a positive influence in our world and I wanted to serve. I grew up knowing who the Lord was but it was not until I met my wonderful husband that I got to know him on a deeper level. I found a desire to serve my Lord and he led me down this current path.
I completed my Bachelors of Arts, major in Sociology and minor in Anthropology as well as my Bachelors of Elementary education at UBCO. It was not till 2014 that I finally was offered a job in the education system. I was a TOC at Heritage Christian School as well as Vernon SD 22 and eventually at KCS.
I was born in Nysa, Poland and when I was 3 years old we moved to Montreal, Canada. Since then we have lived in many different places around Canada. My family and I moved to Kelowna in 2001, and I have been here since then. Kelowna is my home, I love it here! It has everything we need to pursue our passions and desires. I love being outdoors, I enjoy swimming in the lake, hiking up Knox mountain, hunting and kayaking. I also love to bake and cook. My family consists of my husband, Jody, our two yorkies, Jayden and Sonya, and our foster baby, Orion.
I am blessed to live in this magnificent world that the Lord gave us, I am passionate about making a difference in this world and I chose the power of teaching. “The earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof, the world and they that dwell therein.” Psalms 24-1.
Excited for the year ahead.
